Michael Hillier's Downunder Ice Boxes is an Australian built and owned company based in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast. Downunder Ice Boxes are designed in Australia and individually made to ensure total quality control throughout every stage of construction. Downunder Ice Boxes as nominated by CHOICE magazine 2010 has the best Ice Retention when compared to other name brands on the market. Downunder Ice Boxes use advanced refrigeration grade Iso and Polyol insulation to bond together the marine grade fibreglass, which gives the ice box a wall thickness of 50mm from the box base through to the lid. The handles and hinges on Downunder Ice Boxes are U.V stabalised moulded high impact nylon. The handles are designed with a locking position for ease of carrying. Downunder Ice Boxes are fitted with a recess in the inner base of the ice box to allow icewater drainage, and are easy to clean, with smooth and odour resistant surfaces. So anywhere you require food, drinks or any other items to be kept cold, you have the confidence of knowing that your Downunder Ice Box will keep your items colder longer. Ice will last from 5 to 15 days! (depending on the size of the box and the condition in which it is used.)
